Each session costs £60, although I do offer a reduced rate of £45 to students and those receiving benefits. To maintain confidentiality in counselling, we will have a phone call to discuss your needs and confirm whether you'd like to book your first session. Please note that this phone call, which lasts up to 30 minutes, is free of charge. Additionally, I have a missed session policy in place to address any cancellations.
Each session lasts for 50 minutes.
At the end of each session, you can settle the counselling cost using various payment methods such as bank transfer, cash, or cheque. My bank details, which are important for ensuring confidentiality in counselling, will be included in the contract you sign during the first session.
The number of sessions you might choose to have depends on how well you feel we are working together and how many you want to have. It's important to consider the counselling cost and the session duration when making your decision. You can stop at any time, but preferably we would end with a final session.
To cover the counselling cost associated with room hire, my missed session policy states that sessions are charged at £15 if 48 hours notice is given. If no notice is provided, the session will be charged at the full rate.
You can talk about anything that may be troubling you. During the first session, I will explain the confidentiality in counselling and how it works in terms of safeguarding and legal aspects. Additionally, I will address the counselling cost, missed session policy, payment methods, and session duration. I welcome any questions or concerns that you may have about this.
In my private practice, I work with individuals aged 16 and above, regardless of gender, culture, background, sexuality, or faith. I prioritize confidentiality in counselling to ensure a safe environment for all clients. I also provide clear information about counselling cost, missed session policy, and available payment methods to facilitate a smooth process. Each session duration is tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients.
Yes, I have full public liability insurance, which is important for maintaining confidentiality in counselling.
As a member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists), I adhere to their ethical framework, which emphasizes the importance of confidentiality in counselling.
