About Me - Katie Coe

I am a fully qualified counsellor and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred registration number: 385661 Full Name: Katherine Sabberton-Coe)

I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a Level 5 Certificate in Counselling Young People and have delivered over 1000 counselling sessions. I am a Person-Centered Counsellor which is a humanistic approach to counselling, but I enjoy learning about other modalities and bringing that knowledge into my practice. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and that in working together, without judgement and at your pace, you will learn more about yourself and trust your own decision-making process. 

I enjoy working with people aged 16yrs plus, of all cultures, walks of life, faiths and non. 

Alongside my private practice I work as a supervisor for the No5 Young Peoples Counselling Service. I have a background that includes being a school counsellor, teacher, Special Educational Needs Coordinator, volunteer within the community and local church, and mother. This experience gives me an idea of some of the issues you may be facing but I recognise that everyone’s life experience is unique to them.
